Curatorship

You have an exhibition idea but setting it up is not your area of expertise? Need advice to make your next masterpiece a great success? You know how to bring a big art project into life, but you simply have too little manpower!

As a Curator I work on a vast range of projects in the Netherlands and Europe, involving a diverse group of exhibitions, artists and spaces both indoors and in the open air.

My area of expertise is three-dimensional art. However I love any art form, especially the ones that are refractory to any definition. My curatorial practice is defined by a strong connection to artists and cultural institutions, fresh perspectives and creative solutions to all possible hick-ups a project can face.

As mediator of an artistic practice, I serve the artists, the cultural organizations and the public.

With Tirzo Martha at his studio.

“I see the curator as catalyst, generator and motivator - a sparring partner, accompanying the artist while they build a show, and a bridge builder, creating a bridge to the public”

– Hans Ulrich Olbrist
